Juraj Mravec

was born in 1987 in the small town of Levice in Slovakia.

He studied photography at the Secondary School of Applied Arts and later in the studios of cinematography and photography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.

He currently works as a freelance Director, DOP, and photographer focusing on Document. He specializes in documenting extreme situations, war conflicts, natural disasters with a strong focus on the human and social aspects.

He has received numerous awards for his work.

He is a member of the Association of Slovak Cinematographers, which brings together the field's best professionals in Slovakia.
