My most personal photography set that I have been photographing for more than ten years.
It's actually a photo notebook where I don't aim to take pictures of what I see because I aim to capture what I feel.
Fascination with beautiful women and an effort to get closer to them, wild parties where a photographic record works instead of memory paralyzed by alcohol. Night buses home and people in them, freezing at the bus stop. Ordinary people who I meet during my travels in Slovakia. Romany, village gigs, landscape. My grandmother's relationship with my aunt, who was mentally handicapped all her life. They are no longer here today, so those photos are of incalculable value to me. A void remained after them — just like the empty streets during covid. What matters is having Leica always ready to capture the fleeting moment, which instantly becomes a thing of the past. Only a photograph — memory — remains. The mementoes of different periods of life, people, country, home …
